Sandy Macalister

Sandy Macalister is the Director and main facilitator of Fortiter.  It is his responsibility to see that your project gets the best possible input from the best possible people.

 

With a varied management career spanning 40 years, he is experienced in the issues, problems and rewards of managing people of different skills and professions and working effectively with boards, committees, donors, stakeholders and government. He is practiced in being resourceful and innovative, speaks Cantonese and holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing. He began his career in Hong Kong with The Royal Hong Kong Police which laid the foundations for his multi-cultural leadership, strategic, investigative and operational skills.

 

As a General Manager of hospitality operations, he acquired the highest of service standards, a strong commercial acumen, a wide network of international contacts and the ability to innovate and achieve. As the head of Asia’s oldest and largest animal welfare organization for 7 years he has been instrumental in creating significant change in Hong Kong and the region.

Andrew O'Regan

Andrew O’Regan has energy, strategy and skill on his side. Living and working from Saudi Arabia to Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and New Zealand, his position as CEO for British American Tobacco in Greater China came with its fair share of challenges.

 

Working in FMCG, his strong grounding in highly-regulated environments have given him the flexibility and creative thinking that’s seen him work effectively with governments, consumers and regional directors.  As someone who has worked with the unique challenges that arise within a controversial industry, we are incredibly fortunate to have Andrew as our strategic marketing and management component. His experience, ability to work in competitive sectors and influential leadership skills are able to effect change and produce results.
